1This is the buildsystem for the OpenWrt Linux distribution.

3Please use "make menuconfig" to configure your appreciated
4configuration for the toolchain and firmware.

6You need to have installed gcc, binutils, patch, bzip2, flex,
7make, gettext, pkg-config, unzip, libz-dev and libc headers.

9Run "./scripts/feeds update" to get the latest package definitions
10defined in feeds.conf / feeds.conf.default respectively
11and "./scripts/feeds install" to install symlinks into "package/feeds/*".

13Use "make menuconfig" to configure your image.

15Simply running "make" will build your firmware.
16It will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain, 
17the kernel and all choosen applications.

19You can use "scripts/flashing/flash.sh" for remotely updating your embedded
20system via tftp.

22The OpenWrt system is documented in docs/. You will need a LaTeX distribution
23and the tex4ht package to build the documentation. Type "make -C docs/" to build it.

25To build your own firmware you need to have access to a Linux, BSD or MacOSX system
26(case-sensitive filesystem required). Cygwin will not be supported because of
27the lack of case sensitiveness in the file system.

5      2) Compiling this package on platforms other than Ubuntu may have unexpected results.
